Failing to plan...
|
Good
Day
As the old saying goes, failing to plan is planning to fail. As mid
year approaches upon us day by day it is time to once again take stock
of where we are, what needs to be done, and appreciate what has
been accomplished.

Business Tip of the Month - Terms and
conditions... make sure they are in order |
| So often we are so
eager about getting going with a new client or sale, we forget to get
the paper work in order. Unfortunately this usually results in sales
people, and in turn the businesses they work for, losing the sale or
not getting paid for the products or services that they worked so hard
to sell in the first place. |

on inventory and the control thereof and the one school of thought I
personally subscribe to contends that having inventory is an
inevitability since the costs and risks of not having inventory when
customers want something outweigh the costs and risk of having them. >> read more

Greetings from the Base Camp of Everest
– and how planning got me here
|
There is a huge amount of planning that
goes into putting together a successful Everest expedition and
attention to detail around the logistics, is of paramount importance.
Every aspect has to be carefully thought and planned out; from food
requirements, to Sherpa support, base camp layout, kitchen staff,
transport of equipment, weather services, technology, media, medical
facilities, oxygen, climbing strategy, safety issues and personal and
communal equipment. click to read more |
